PA "Urengoigasprom" is a subsidiary of
OAO "Gasprom". Possessing a vast natural resource "Urengoigasprom" produces
more than 40 percent of the total gas output in Russia.
The activities of the Association are developing in the following main directions: exploration, production, treatment and processing of hydrocarbons; scientific, technical and design work; construction and repair of industrial and social facilities; creation of infrastructure in the town of Novy Urengoi and foreign economic activity. "Urengoigasprom" contributes much to the development of the Russian gas sector introducing valuable technical solutions.

In the near future, oil, gas and condensate reserves of Pestsovoye and Yen-Yakhinskoye fields and Achimovsky horizon of the Urengoi field will be developed. These fields present challenges of complex geological conditions and field development problems but will provide the reward of large hydrocarbon reserves.

To expand its foreign economic activity the Production Association maintains business relations with a number of companies from Japan, USA, Great Britain, Germany, Austria, France, Finland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. The Association is open to proposals for mutually beneficial co-operation and guarantees its partners stability and reliability.
